A smart home without the fuss.

NextNewGen is a one-person project from the UK about making a home smarter without subscriptions, lock-in or jargon. The focus is local-first automations, saving energy, and honest picks of the gear that's worth buying.

You'll see hands and devices, not a presenter: the home is the star. Guides are written to be useful on their own, with sources for every number.

Principles

• Teach first. Recommendations come second and are always labelled when they pay.
• Safety over savings. Some appliances shouldn't run unattended, and the guides say so.
• Local first. A house should keep working when the internet doesn't.
